25th Anniversary of the ACDTL

Today, I arrived in Madison, Wisconsin, for the 25th Anniversary of the Annual Conference on Distance Teaching and Learning. I arrived at the airport around noon, and took a cab to the Hilton Madison Monona Terrace Hotel and Conference Center shortly thereafter.

After settling in at the hotel and checking in at the conference registration booth, I went to grab a bite to eat with one of my PlattForm associates.

Next came the grand opening of the Exhibit Hall. We worked the booth for a few hours, passing out business cards and collateral pieces to conference attendees interested in further marketing their programs. Then we took my co-presenter, a marketing manager at Saint Louis University out to dinner.

Next comes prepping for the presentation, and then tomorrow we'll actually present during the second series of Information Sessions. Our presentation will be on interactive strategies for colleges and universities, highlighting SEO and Social Media. We'll also be including a case study on the performance of the School for Professional Studies at Saint Louis University.

Hopefully we'll have a decent number of people in attendance for our presentation. More on that to come...
